Installation on the BOBI BOW stand

Installation in the ground with Bobi Bow stand

With the Bobi Bow installation stand, a single letterbox is installed directly into the ground. It is compatible with all Bobi letterboxes.

For installation you will need a screwdriver, measuring tape and a spade (and concrete if necessary). Bobi Xpress letterboxes have pre-drilled mounting holes, but for all round-top Bobi letterboxes the mounting holes in the back wall must additionally be drilled open with a 6–7 mm metal drill bit.

Frost protection is usually not needed for the foundation. However, if the ground is susceptible to frost, the need for frost insulation should be determined. The mailbox with the mounting stand is placed in the foundation pit, ensuring that the filling slot is at the height recommended by the postal service. The mailbox is supported vertically, and the pit is filled with gravel or stone fill, or concrete.

Note! Before starting the installation work, ensure that the location is exactly where it should be.
