Installation on the BOBI LINK stand

Group installation in the ground with Bobi Link stand

Using the Bobi Link group installation stand, a group of letterboxes is installed directly into the ground. It is compatible with all round-top Bobi letterboxes (except Bobi Xpress).

The installation requires a drill/screwdriver, a 6-7 mm metal drill bit, a measuring tape, a shovel, reinforcing steel (rebar), and concrete.

The letterbox group equipped with Bobi Link installation stands is lowered into the foundation pit, ensuring that the mail slots are at the height above ground level recommended by the postal service. The letterboxes are supported vertically and the pit is filled with concrete.

If the ground is susceptible to frost, the need for frost insulation should be determined. When pouring the concrete, it's advisable to reinforce the concrete footing with reinforcing steel (rebar), especially when dealing with a group of several mailboxes. (The tubes have pre-made 6 mm holes for rebar).

Note! Before starting the installation work, ensure that the location is exactly where it should be.

A trench about the width of a shovel blade and approximately 40-50 cm deep is dug at the installation site. Beware of potential cables.
